The following information is part of the Mass Evacuation Plan in case areas of Tangipahoa Parish need to be evacuated. Specifically areas south of Highway 22 and mobile homes and homes that cannot withstand hurricane/tropical storm force winds.

Persons that do not have any other means of transportation from the evacuated area to a shelter need to notify the local fire department in their area, and/or submit a request for assistance to our online database (See form BELOW to submit your information. ALL information submitted is for emergency use ONLY and is kept private.)

PLEASE NOTE that this request for transportation assistance does NOT include persons with SPECIAL NEEDS, who should notify their respective Home Health Agencies for evacuation assistance.

The public is urged to start notifying their local fire department NOW so these departments can start a list of persons in need of transportation.
